I've often wondered what was the last car sold in the USA to feature an external badge touting Fuel Injection. This question bugged me enough to beg for Oppo authorship... surely we have the right group here to solve this enduring mystery.
There are other dated badges out there too... remember 90's GM vehicles with a little "ABS" logo?

The "i" in all of the BMW models indicates fuel injection... Just to clarify that they are not carbureted.

Wow. At some point in time I probably realized that — say, the 80's.

And for some reason BMW still appends every gas model with an "i". The diesels must be carbureted since they only get a "d".

So to answer the original question, BMW still touts fuel injection. They just don't spell it out on the car. But they do on their web site.

That's pretty amazing. Ironic, too, that the company that makes cutting-edge driving machines is the one that is still touting their decades-old "innovation".
Still curious what was the last car to spell it out, but this is great.

If I had to guess, maybe the 1991 K5 Blazer? I know the full sizers spelled it out in plain English. I think some 90s Corsicas had FI emblems. I remember some other cars having EFI emblems too, maybe Chrysler?

Last ones I remember were the Camaro/Firebird touting "multi-port fuel injection" - usually on the base models too.
